Customer supplied: Existing logo and colors plus desired wording.
Our contribution: Layout and typography.
How license plate was created: We downloaded a low-resolution bitmap version of the customer’s logo from their website, then rebuilt it as vector art. Extending the logo across the full width of the tag dictated the space and options left for the remainder of the layout. Here we went with a straightforward centered approach, aligning the motto’s left/right edges visually with those of the logotype. The phone number was set in extrabold for contrast and punch against the motto directly above.
Ink colors: Pantone 527 Purple and 124 Yellow Gold
Typeface: Present Script (main yellow logotype), Futura (purple logotype copy), Futura Condensed (motto, phone number)
