Standard items included
at no additional charge

• High-sheen gold or silver aluminum. Near mirror-like surface for the ultimate look of class, but competitively priced.
• All artwork and lettering embossed. Stamped auto plates with raised letters and artwork enhance the appearance of your tags with vintage appeal. Outer border of license plate is embossed regardless of whether or not there is a printed border, to improve rigidity/ dimensional stability. (If you prefer, entire plate can be flat instead of embossed.)
• No setup fees, and designed free by our experienced designers in 3 business days, except when art is complex.
• Long-lasting, rustproof aluminum plates, .024-gauge.
• Screen-printed with 5 to 7-year non-fade inks. Traditional screen-printing has its competitors these days, but only industrial resin inks have been able to measure up. Make sure you get screen-printed or industrial-resin plates if you want them to last.
• Select from 50 standard ink colors (ink color chart).
• Custom/PMS ink color match at no additional charge. Match may not be perfect since screen-printing inks are manufactured for superior fade-resistance and outdoor durability, and use different pigments than Pantone inks for commercial offset press.
• Individual shrinkwrapping of each embossed auto plate included.
• Standard production time is 4–6 weeks once you’ve reviewed and approved your embossed auto plate artwork. Contact us for current turnaround time. Shipping time is extra, via UPS Ground.

Extra-cost options

• Rush turnaround available if room in our production schedule: 20% extra cost on quantities from 125 to 499 embossed tags, and 15% extra for 500 plates and up. Rush orders must be paid by credit or debit card.

$50 order discount for print-ready art supplied in Adobe Illustrator (.ai or .eps) format using our template, and that follows our artwork requirements.

Sales tax: Not charged for states outside Kansas. KS residents other than nonprofits add 6.3% state sales tax, plus your applicable local (city and/or county) rate. For KS nonprofits, an exemption form is required for us to waive tax, which we’ll ask you to furnish.

We can expedite shipping using faster delivery methods at UPS’s usual rates for those services. However, aluminum plates are heavy and non-Ground shipping costs considerably more, so we recommend planning ahead.

Shipping weight is 18.5 lbs. per 100 plates.

We do not profit on shipping, and pass through only UPS’s rates as charged to us, plus our packing materials cost. Included in the shipping rates above is a small but mandatory UPS insurance fee to cover reprinting your order in the event of a lost or damaged shipment.
