		From former co-owner Ward Nic holson To any of our past customers who need to print or reprint license plates that we previously designed for you: How to obtain license plate artwork we’ve created for you in the past, so you can print it elsewhere. As the primary graphic designer of the license plate designs that we created for Leeward Productions customers, I still have on my computer the entire plate artwork archive that we accumulated during the years we were in business. To make it possible to have your plates printed elsewhere with the same exact design, if you’ll contact me I’ll be happy to convert and furnish your license plate artwork for the same $35.00 standard artwork release fee that Leeward Productions charged. (Credit card required.) I’ll send your artwork by email in 4 major file formats, which should cover any situation you run into elsewhere. The file formats in which you’ll receive your plate artwork are Adobe AI vector format, plus vector EPS, JPG bitmap, and editable vector PDF. The same artwork files can be used to print T-shirts or other promotional items as well, or can be used on your own computer. Whether you’re working with a commercial printing vendor or with computer software such as Microsoft Word or desktop publishing programs, at least one of these 4 formats will work for you regardless of the situation, and at sharp high-quality resolution. License plate artwork will typically cost you extra elsewhere for lesser-caliber design. You’ll find that most license plate producers and other promotional products vendors focus on the printing and production side of things, and do not put in the time that we did on design and artwork at Leeward Productions. Or if they do, there are extra charges, with a strong likelihood you’ll nevertheless end up with a design that doesn’t measure up to the same caliber of work that we produced for customers as career graphic designers.
